Listicle Through The Alphabet With Me – B

What About B?

We are on week two of our blogging through the alphabet adventure. Are you ready to read some really interesting posts? Well, you are in luck! Head down to the linkup party at the bottom of this post and you can browse through a lot of great ideas and helpful encouragement. But before you do, take a moment to read the listicle for this week, all about the letter B.

And while you are here, let me know what you think in the comments below. I love to hear all about your ideas.

B IS FOR. . .

  1. What you feel: BURIED (Hang on, homeschool mom. “Sometimes when you’re in a dark place you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted” – Christine Caine)
  2. What you wish for: BELONG (don’t worry – it might take a while but you will find friends to support you if you just keep looking and I would be happy to be your friend!)
  3. What will help you: BALANCE (don’t try to do it all, just relax and you will find a balance between what needs to get done and that oh-so-important time with your children.)
  4. What you will use most: BARGAINS (Thrift stores and dollar stores are your friend!)
  5. What you pray for: BURDEN is light (Mt. 11:28-30, see below and take heart)
  6. Great curriculum to try: BARTON Reading & Spelling for kids who struggle with dyslexia (we know Mrs. Barton and she is amazing!)
  7. A fun homeschool activity: BUBBLE FUN!

Verse about Lightening the Burden:

28. Come to Me, all who are waery and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

29. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

– Mt. 11:28-30

  1. The verse you chose to share is so appropriate for me. I do try to take on too much and hold it all myself. I need to remember that the burden the Lord asks of me is not too heavy and He is right there.
