Where did I lose it?

All week I have been looking for it. I was certain that it was in that messy mound that I sometimes refer to as my desk. I needed it so badly but WHERE was it?

As the week progressed, I began to feel that sense of desperation rising in my throat every time I thought about it. Why couldn’t I find it? What happened? Did the dog and the cat make a pact to steal off with it? Did my husband decide to use it to mop up a coffee spill and then throw it away not knowing what he had done? WHERE could it be?

A couple of days ago, I decided that it could possibly have floated across the room and so I began tearing apart all my bookshelves and stacks of magazines. It had to be somewhere. I then turned to that black hole wee sometimes refer to as ‘under the bed’ but no luck. I was beginning to suspect I would never find it. But the WHERE still plagued me.

This morning things were critical. This was going to effect my ability to hold down my job, feed my kids, pay for those lovely chocolates I had been consuming at an ever-increasing pace as my worry over the location of it increased.

And then I found it. Hanging up. Taped to the backside of a lidded bookshelf. Right in my office all the time.

There was my prized, oh-so-important piece of paper.

The one where I write down ALL my passwords.

Ahhh!
