At first I just paged through this journal, looking at the pictures and pages. Then accidentally I opened the book at the back and started paging forward. WOW!

It turns out that this amazing journal is designed in 4-page repeating patterns. Every 4 pages includes a page to color, a small inset photograph of the original illustration on the following page, and an inset color photograph of the original showing detail of your coloring page on the page opposite your coloring page.

Why? Well it might seem a little complicated, but the results are stupendous when you color the page. You end up with repeating patterns and colors with every turn of the page. Echos of the original full illustrated scripture. Not only that, the color schemes of each piece take you on a coherent journey through color and pattern as you page through the entire journal once you color all the pages.

And then you can fill the rest of the journal with your thoughts and dreams and ideas. It really is a book that provides two activities in one, all focused on the Word.
